Fitting an LLM inside an iPhone

ProblemUnderstand whether a full language model can really run locally on an iPhone, beyond the theory.

HypothesisQuantizing TinyLlama (CoreML conversion, then int8 and int4 compression) should shrink its size and memory enough to run directly on the device.

Two public repositories document the approach and results; this work was ultimately not integrated into either Dumbia or MeeM.

One AI video a day

ProblemAs a teenager, I made and published comedy videos online. This experiment let me return to that practice while exploring what AI-generated video can do today.

HypothesisPublishing one video a day for about a month would push Sora beyond a few quick tests: keeping the characters and concept consistent, working around generation limits and delivering something publishable every day.

Status
For about a month, with Aurélie on screen, I kept up a daily video: finding ideas, staying true to the concept, writing prompts, resolving generation inconsistencies, editing, publishing and managing social media. The Titanic episode passed 50,000 combined views across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

ProblemA connected home ends up being run from a phone, screen on and menus to browse, where a single gesture would do.

HypothesisAn Xbox controller wired to a Raspberry Pi can become a physical remote for the house: one button per action, with no screen or app to open.
