About

Designing and leading digital products

For over 15 years, I have shaped and led digital products from initial framing to launch and continuous improvement. I am now positioning myself as a Technical Product Owner or software project manager, with a particular interest in practical uses of AI and data.

My background as a mobile developer, product creator and company director helps me connect product vision, UX, engineering teams and business needs, then lead delivery through to real-world use.

Based in the Toulouse area, I am looking to join a team in an experienced product or project leadership role while staying close to technology and delivery.

Product, technology and business

Three territories most profiles cross one at a time. I have practised all three, which is what lets me see their dependencies and arbitrate between them.

Career

Two salaried roles, a company founded and led, and an independent app running through all of it. The scope kept widening, without ever moving away from the making.

Origins

A continuous path

At 16, I already described cineVenus as a comedy-focused audiovisual production company led by an imaginative young filmmaker. Behind the confidence of that line was mainly the desire to create, publish and bring a community together.

From those first web creations to my iOS apps in 2010, I have followed the same thread: starting from an idea or a concrete problem, then making it useful.

Urgences, Band-Band, BandClip, ETERNEL and my personal projects taught me to connect technology, user experience, business models and operations around an outcome.

Creation is also something my family shares. My father, the musician Eric LaValette, built the first cineVenus website in HTML and taught me the basics; my sister Léa Camilleri creates on YouTube. Together, we recorded a cover of Neil Young's Hey Hey My My.

How I work

Three steps that keep repeating, and two abilities that run across all of them instead of sitting inside one.

The product cycle

  1. Understand and design

Start with a problem, frame what matters and design the right experience, app or tool.

    Case studyUrgences
  2. Develop and deliver

Turn the design into a working product, from prototype to code, testing and launch.

  3. Launch and improve

Observe real use, learn from data and feedback, then keep improving the product over time.

then it starts again

Across every step

  • Lead and coordinate

Set direction, prioritise, make trade-offs and bring the right people together while staying close to technical constraints.

  • Explain and pass on

Turn complex material into something understandable and actionable.

    Teaching

A pragmatic approach

I start by understanding the problem, users, business constraints and technical dependencies. I turn them into clear priorities, then move quickly to a mock-up or first version.

For Urgences, user feedback, analytics and App Store constraints shape the roadmap. At Space Pepper, my decisions connected product, budgets, stock, suppliers and the team's capacity.

Working with others

At Space Pepper, I directly managed a 10-person team and coordinated functions, vendors and partners through delivery.

I set direction, clarified priorities, balanced technical and economic constraints and made dependencies visible so everyone could move forward.

Teaching and sharing

Passing things on is part of how I work: I have taught occasionally in schools on web careers, development, WordPress and digital hygiene, and I taught those subjects at Master's level.

Preparing a class means making a subject clear and useful in a few hours, in front of people who are about to practise it.

It is the same exercise as designing a product.

Complex

Clear and usable

  2. Structure
  3. Explain
