The project
A periodic table fits on a poster, not on a phone screen. Elements was about keeping the overall reading while still giving access to the detail: the table sorts by state, name, atomic number or symbol, and each element opens its full sheet.
Masses, melting and boiling points, electron configuration, radioactivity, period and group are all there, with a link to Wikipedia to go further. The app was later optimised for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5 when they shipped.
