The project
In March 2011, after the tsunami and the Fukushima accident, the urge to do something concrete outweighed the time available. The app was designed, built and published in one week, with one euro donated to the Red Cross for every purchase.
The idea came down to a single gesture: shake the iPhone to pump water and cool the plant, with score sharing through Game Center and OpenFeint. Clément Merouani handled the design while I handled the development. Commercially the result stayed modest; what I take from it is having shipped a complete project in seven days.
